After June 30, 2021, each person in SA working with the personal information of others faced new rules.

You must follow the edicts of the Protection of Personal Information Act. You will discover more than you thought possible after each step in this course. You will learn how to protect yourself, your firm, (and your job).

When you finish, you will protect your devices from desperadoes. Hide your papers from thieves. And lock scammers and social engineers out of your space.

You'll never need to worry about losing a password again. (Or remembering one.) You'll soon design easy-to-remember passwords requiring a quadrillion years to break. (That's longer than the universe has existed, so you'll be good until you retire.)

Jokes aside, this privacy stuff is serious. You don't want your doctor to expose some pre-operation photos of you. Nor your bank to disclose your credit card info, or Facebook to lose your email/password combo again.

The rest of us feel the same way about our information being in your care as you go about your daily work. Lose it, and we'll be unhappy enough to make enough noise for your firm to close.
